Cancel a dispatched expedite item

Cancel an expedite item completely or partially. For example, when a shipment is lost and a redelivery is required, you can cancel the expedite item and create a new record to track the shipment.

  1. Navigate to the s51004 Expediting screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Expedite Header grid, select a row.

  4. In the Expedite Items grid, select the Exp Items tab, and then select a row.

  5. On the s51004 menu, in the Actions group, from the Handling of Items dropdown, select Cancel Dispatched Items.

    The d0270 Cancel Expediting Occurrence dialog appears.

  6. In the Cancellation section, enter the quantity of the expedite item you want to cancel.

  7. In the Journal Entry field, enter the reason you want to cancel the expedite item.

  8. Select Ok.

    A pop-up window appears.

  9. Select Yes.

    A pop-up window appears.

  10. Select Yes.

    In the Expedite Items grid, in the Exp Items tab, a row is created.

    In the row, the values in the Cancelled Qty and the Exp Qty fields are updated for the expedite item.
