Bulk update the milestones of expedite items

Update a milestone of an expedite item and apply the same update for all the expedite items related to a Purchase Order (PO). For example, after you update the milestone duration for a milestone, you can apply the same update to all the expedite items or the selected expedite items.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• In the s52002 Inspection / Expedite Schedule screen, ensure the status of the schedule is Open or Change.

• In the Expedite Items grid, in the Exp Items tab, in the Schedule tab, ensure the Actual field is empty.

To bulk update the milestones of expedite items

1. Navigate to the s51004 Expediting screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Expedite Header grid, select a row.

4. In the Expedite Items grid, select the Exp Items tab, and then select one or more rows.

5. On the s51004 menu, in the Scheduling group, select Bulk Milestone update.

   The d5206 Bulk Update Milestones dialog appears.

6. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

   In the Bulk Milestone Update grid, all the milestones of the selected PO appear.

7. In the grid, select a row and enter the relevant details in the fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s51004 Field descriptions.

8. Perform one of the following:

   • Update All: The updates are applied to all the expedite items.

   • Update Selected: The updates are applied to the selected expedite items.

9. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
