Create a level in a system breakdown structure

Create a level in a system breakdown structure of a project.

  1. Navigate to the s10004 Set-Up Project Structure and Systems screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the Levels and Systems section, select the project ID.

    The Systems grid is updated with the data of all the systems defined for the selected project.

  5. Select anywhere in the Levels grid.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Levels grid, a row is created.

  7. Enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Level Id: The unique ID of a level within a project.

    • Level Name: The name of the level within a project.

  8. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s10004 Field descriptions.

  9. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The level is created.
