The default value defined for a custom property is used when a new record is created in a screen related to an entity. You cannot define a default value for a value list lookup query that has mapped parameters.
-
Navigate to the s00034 Custom Property Definition screen.
-
In the Current Entity control block, from the Entity dropdown, select the ID of an entity.
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
Select the Custom Property tab, in the CustomProperty grid, select a row.
-
On the s00034 menu, in the group, select Set Default Value.
The d0239 Custom Property Default Value Set dialog appears.
-
Perform one of the following:
-
If the field is a text box, in the field, enter the default text.
-
If the field is a dropdown, from the dropdown, select the default value.
-
-
Select Save.
