Copy a general MTO line to a project

Copy a general Material Take-Off (MTO) line from the source project to a target project.

  1. Navigate to the s22041 General MTO screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the MTO Lines grid, select a general MTO line you want to copy.

  5. On the s22041 menu, in the Copy group, select To Project.

    The d0208 Copy MTO Lines to Project dialog appears.

  6. From the Target Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

  7. (Optional) In the Options section, perform any of the following:

    • To include the general MTO items in all purchase requirements in the s50022 Material Status List screen and the s50017 Buyers Queue screen, select the For Construction checkbox.

      In the target project, in the copied general MTO line, the For Construction checkbox is selected for the general MTO items.

    • To include the general MTO items as a requisition in a part list, a delivery request list, or a picking list in the target project, select the For Requisition checkbox.

      In the target project, in the copied general MTO line, the For Requisition checkbox is selected for the general MTO items.

  8. In the MTO Lines to copy section, select one of the following:

    • All: To copy all the general MTO lines from the source project to the target project.

    • Selected: To copy only the selected general MTO lines from the source project to the target project.

  9. To validate the copy of the general MTO line, select Test.

    A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

  10. Perform one of the following as required:

    • If the validation is successful, select Ok.

      The pop-up window closes.

    • If the validation is not successful, select Ok, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

  11. Select Copy.

    The number of general MTO lines and MTO items that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.

    The general MTO line is copied from the source project to the target project.

  12. To close the d0208 Copy MTO Lines to Project dialog, select Exit.

  13. (Optional) To modify the copied general MTO line according to your requirements, perform the following:

    1. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

    2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

    3. In the MTO Lines grid, select the copied general MTO line, and modify according to your requirements.

    4. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
