Release an item in a general MTO line from on hold state

Release an item in a general Material Take-Off (MTO) line from the on hold state when the MTO item is ready for requisition or purchase.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• Ensure you save all the changes in the s22041 General MTO screen.

• For a general MTO line, in the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, in the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Working or Confirmed.

To release an item in a general MTO line from on hold state

1. Navigate to the s22041 General MTO screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

5. In the MTO Items grid, select a row

   On the s22041 menu, in the Workflow group, from the OnHold dropdown, select Release Items.

   A pop-up window appears.

6. To confirm, select Yes.

   In the MTO Items grid, in the General tab, the values in the On Hold Reason and the Engineering On Hold Qty fields are removed for the selected general MTO item.

7. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
