Add sub-assembly items to a part list

A sub-assembly is a part of a drawing. You can add drawings defined in the s20012 Drawing Catalogue screen to a part list.

Navigate to the s21000 Part Lists screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Part Lists grid, select a row.

On the s21000 menu, in the Add Positions group, from the From Catalogue dropdown, select Sub Assembly.
The d0003 Sub-assembly Item Selection dialog appears.

To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

In the Sub Assembly Items grid, select one or more items, and then select the Enter key.
The selected items appear in the Selected Items grid.

In the Selected Items grid, in the Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each item.

Select Insert.
The items appear in the Part List Items grid.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s21000 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The sub-assembly items are added to the part list.
