AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management handles large amounts of data. As a user, you frequently need to search for information within the collected data. When you open a List of Values (LOV), you can see value lists with thousands of records. As you type more text, the list gradually narrows down. But, for large data quantities, the process of narrowing down is time consuming.

As an administrator,you can set a number of performance enhancing options for LOVs to limit the number of records displayed in the LOVs.
