Update the quantity of a material in a Material Requisition (MR). You can manually adjust the quantity of a material in an MR and transfer the updated quantity to a technical material requisition.
-
Navigate to the s22060 Engineering Material Control screen.
-
In the Current Project control block, perform the following:
-
From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.
-
From the Requisition dropdown, select the ID of the required MR.
-
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
In the Material Control grid, select a row.
-
Select the General tab and perform one of the following:
-
In the Adjustment field, enter the quantity of a material you want to add or remove from the value defined in the Total Take Off Quantity field of the selected material.
-
In the Adjustment Percentage field, enter a percentage of the value in the Current TMR Quantity field to set as the value in the Total Take Off Quantity field of the selected material.
If the selected MR is based on a material summary defined in the s21026 Material Summaries screen, then the adjustment is applied to the material summary. If the MR only holds a part of the total material summary quantity, then the adjustments are distributed according to the distribution of the material quantity across different MRs.
-
-
(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s22060 Field descriptions.
-
On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The MR is updated. The values in the Total Take-off Quantity, the Balance, the Project MTO Quan, the New Quantity To TMR, the MTO+WS&C+Over Order Adj, and the New Qty To TMR (Before over order) fields are updated with the adjusted quantity values.
