Create a material certificate

A certificate issued for an item validates the quality and compliance of the item upon delivery.
In the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen, you can search for and register certificates before or after an item is delivered. However, you can register certificates for an item at the time of delivery in the s60028 Stock Item Delivery Registration screen. For more information, see Register a material certificate from s60028. You can also assign certificates to an item in the s60045 Edit Material Details screen. For more information, see Assign a material certificate to an item.
After creating certificates for a fabricate constructed onsite in the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen, you can assign the certificates to the fabricate in the s60045 Edit Material Details screen. For more information, see Assign a material certificate to an item.
You can specify the quantity of the items related to the certificate while registering a certificate. For certificates related to a hull material, ensure you specify the Charge ID while creating a certificate.

Navigate to the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen.

Perform one of the following as required:

Select the Purchase Order Items tab.

Select the Make Fabricates tab.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

Perform one of the following as required:

In the Purchase Order Items tab, in the Purchase Order Items Block grid, select a row.

In the Make Fabricates tab, in the Make Fabricates grid, select a row.

Select anywhere in the Material Certificate grid.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Material Certificate grid, a blank row is created.

Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Certificate Id: The ID of the certificate attached to a Purchase Order (PO) item.

Quantity: The quantity of the item registered to a certificate.
Note: To define multiple material certificates for a PO item, repeat steps 5 and 6.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s60003 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The material certificate is created.
