Define the availability for a resource

Define the availability for a global resource or a project specific resource. You can define multiple schedules for a resource. However, only one schedule is valid at a time.

Navigate to the s00021 Resource Definition screen.

In the Control Block, perform one of the following:

To define the availability for a global resource, select Global.

To define the availability for a project specific resource, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Resources section, select the ID of a resource.

In the Resources grid, select the Availability tab.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Availability tab, a row is created.

Perform the following:

From the Start dropdown, select the start date from when the resource is available.

From the Finish dropdown, select the end date till when the resource is available.

From the Shift dropdown, select the ID of a shift during which the resource is available.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s00021 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The availability is defined for the selected resource.
