Create a nesting ID for a hull material

Nesting is a process in which the hull plate and the hull profile materials are marked, burnt, and cut to reduce the wastage of materials.

1. Navigate to the s30002 Nesting Info - Hull screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Nesting Info - Hull grid, a blank row is created.

5. Select the General tab, in the Nesting ID field, enter the unique ID of a hull nesting within a project.

6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s30002 Field descriptions.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The nesting ID for a hull material within a project is created.
