Assign a role access to a screen layout

Assign a role to access a screen in a specific layout.

1. Navigate to the s00064 Screen Management screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Screens grid, select a row.

4. Select the Layouts tab, in the Layouts grid, select a row.

5. Select the Role Defaults tab and select anywhere in the Roles using layout by default grid.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Roles using layout by default grid, a blank row is created.

7. From the Role dropdown, select the ID of a role.

   The role is assigned access to the selected layout.

8. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s00064 Field descriptions.

9. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
