Create a cost account

A cost account is a financial account to record costs associated to a purchase order in the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management system.

Navigate to the s10003 Cost Accounts screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Cost Accounts grid, a blank row is created.

Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Cost Account Id: The unique ID of a cost account.

Name: The name of the cost account.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s10003 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The cost account is created.
