Copy a fluid code to a project

Copy a fluid code from the source project to a target project.

  1. Navigate to the s22004 Fluid Codes screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the Fluid Code List grid, select a row.

  5. On the s22004 menu, in the Action group, select Copy Fluid Codes.

    The d0324 Copy Fluid Codes to Project dialog appears.

  6. From the Target Project dropdown, select the project to which you want to copy a fluid code.

  7. (Optional) In the Options section, perform any of the following as required:

    • To copy inactive fluid codes from the source project to the target project, select the Include Inactive Fluid Codes checkbox.

    • To copy the design conditions related to a fluid code from the source project to the target project, select the Include Design Conditions checkbox.

    • To copy the unit conversion of the temperature and pressure related to a fluid code from the source project to the target project, select the Unit Conversion Mandatory checkbox.

  8. In the Fluid Codes to copy section, select one of the following:

    • All: To copy all the fluid codes from the source project to the target project.

    • Selected: To copy only the selected fluid codes from the source project to the target project.

  9. To validate the fluid code copy, select Test.

    A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

  10. Perform one of the following as required:

    • If the validation is successful, select OK.

      The pop-up window closes.

    • If the validation is not successful, select OK, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

  11. Select Copy.

    The number of fluid codes that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.

    The fluid codes are copied from the source project to the target project.

  12. To close the d0324 Copy Fluid Codes dialog, select Exit.

  13. (Optional) To modify the copied fluid codes according to your requirements, perform the following:

    1. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the project ID of the target project.

    2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

    3. In the Fluid Code List grid, select the copied fluid codes, and then modify according to your requirements.

    4. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
