Relate a discipline code to a defect code

To use a defect code when you register a non-conformance work item in the s61011 Work Item Overview screen, ensure you relate the defect code to a discipline code.

1. Navigate to the s61005 Defect Codes screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Defect Codes grid, select a row.

4. Select anywhere in the Discipline Codes grid.

5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Discipline Codes grid, a blank row is created.

6. Select the General tab, from the Discipline dropdown, select the ID of a discipline code.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The discipline code is related to the selected defect code.
