Close a transport package

Update the status of a transport package to Closed. If the status of a transport package is Closed, you cannot update any information for the transport package, and you cannot change the status to Open.

1. Navigate to the s51010 Transport Package screen.

2. In the Project Selection control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Package grid, select a row.

5. On the s51010 menu, in the Workflow group, select Close.

6. In the General tab, from the Site dropdown, select the ID of a site related to the transport package.

7. In the Size and Weight tab, perform the following:

   • In the Length field, enter the length of the transport package. From the dropdown, select the unit of measure for the value in the Length field.

   • In the Width field, enter the width of the transport package. From the dropdown, select the unit of measure for the value in the Width field.

   • In the Height field, enter the height of the transport package. From the dropdown, select the unit of measure for the value in the Height field.

   • In the Weight field, enter the weight of the transport package. From the dropdown, select the unit of measure for the value in the Weight field.

     In the Package grid, in the General tab, the value in the Package Status field changes to Closed.

8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The transport package is closed.
