Copy an RFQ to a project

Copy a Request For Quote (RFQ) from the source project to a target project.

Navigate to the s50019 Request for Quote screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Request for Quote Header grid, select an RFQ you want to copy.

On the s50019 menu, in the Copy group, select To Project.
The d0110 Copy RFQ to RFQ dialog appears.

From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

In the Offset field, enter a value to offset the requirement dates in the RFQ.

From the Required on Site At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

Perform any of the following:

To copy the RFQ positions from the source project to the target project, select the Include Position checkbox.

To copy the documents related to the RFQ from the source project to the target project, select the Include Document checkbox.

To copy the attachments related to the RFQ from the source project to the target project, select the Include Attachment checkbox.

To copy the additional information related to the RFQ from the source project to the target project, select the Include Add info checkbox.

To validate the RFQ copy, select Test.
A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

Perform one of the following as required:

If the validation is successful, select Ok.
The pop-up window closes.

If the validation is not successful, select Ok, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

Select Copy.
The number of RFQ positions that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.
The RFQ is copied from the source project to the target project.
To save the copied RFQ

In the Request for Quote Header grid, select the new RFQ.

In the Request for Quote Position grid, select a row.

Select the General tab and perform the following:

From the System dropdown, select the required system number.

From the Required on Site At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

From the Delivery Required At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required to be delivered at the location set in the delivery terms.
Note: Repeat step 3 for each row.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50019 Field descriptions.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
