Assign a material certificate to an item

Assign a material certificate defined in the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen to an item. In the s60003 Certificates and Charge screen, ensure a material certificate is defined for the required item. To create a material certificate, see Create a material certificate.

1. Navigate to the s60045 Edit Material Details screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Material Holding grid, select a row.

4. On the s60045 menu, in the Material Details group, select New.

   The d0282 Edit Material Details dialog appears.

5. In the d0282 Edit Material Details dialog, select the General tab, and perform the following:

   1. In the Holding Quantity field, enter the quantity for the material instance.

      Note: For a material instance, ensure the value in the Holding Quantity field is less than or equal to the value in the Material Holding field, in the General tab, in the Material Holding grid.

   2. From the Material Certificate dropdown, select the required material certificate.

6. Select Save and Exit.

   The selected material certificate is assigned to the required item.
