Architecture diagram

AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management is implemented using a three-tier architecture, which includes the following components:

• AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management database server: The database server runs Oracle 19c (64-bit) database software, which contains the data and a portion of the application logic.

• AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management application server: The Application Server contains the bulk of the application logic and runs on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). The Application Server communicates with the database server via the Oracle Net protocol.

• Client (PC) tier: The client runs the client part of the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management application. Client software communicates with the Application Server using the TCP protocol.

AVEVA Licensing Server

AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management licensing is managed by the AVEVA License Server (ALS) using the FlexMan licensing. Before running AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management, install the ALS software and obtain the license keys.
