Create a fabricate type

Use a fabricate type to categorize different fabricates. By grouping fabricates based on the fabricate type, you can efficiently plan the batch construction process for fabricates of the similar type.

1. Navigate to the s20018 Fabricate Types screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Fabricate Types grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   • Id: The unique ID of a fabricate type.

   • Description: The description of the fabricate type.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s20018 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The fabricate type is created.
