Copy a TMR to a project

Copy a Technical Material Requisition (TMR) from the source project to a target project.

  1. Navigate to the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select a TMR you want to copy.

  4. On the s50016 menu, in the Copy group, select To Project.

    The d0097 Copy TMR to TMR dialog appears.

  5. From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

  6. In the Offset field, enter a value to offset the requirement dates in the TMR.

  7. From the Required on Site At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

  8. Perform any of the following:

    • To copy the TMR positions from the source project to the target project, select the Include Position checkbox.

    • To copy the documents related to the TMR from the source project to the target project, select the Include Document checkbox.

    • To copy the attachments related to the TMR from the source project to the target project, select the Include Attachment checkbox.

    • To copy the vendor deliverable requirements schedule related to the TMR from the source project to the target project, select the Include VDRS checkbox.

    • To copy the additional information related to the TMR from the source project to the target project, select the Include Add info checkbox.

    • To copy the inspection test requirements related to the TMR from the source project to the target project, select the Include ITR checkbox.

  9. To validate the TMR copy, select Test.

    A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

  10. Perform one of the following as required:

    • If the validation is successful, select OK.

      The pop-up window closes.

    • If the validation is not successful, select OK, and then select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

  11. Select Copy.

    The number of items that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.

    The TMR is copied from the source project to the target project.

To save the copied TMR

  1. In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select the new TMR.

  2. In the Position grid, in the Technical Material Requisition Position tab, in the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, select a row.

  3. Select the Delivery tab and then perform the following:

    • From the Required on Site At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

    • From the Delivery Required At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required to be delivered at the location set in the delivery terms.

    Note: Repeat step 3 for each row.

  4. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, s50016 Field descriptions.

  5. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
