Install the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management Application Objects

Install all AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management schema objects into the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management application schema. The tasks performed are as follows:

  • Create types

  • Create tables, sequences

  • Create foreign key constraint

  • Create packages header

  • Create views

  • Create synonyms

  • Create packages body

  • Create database triggers

  • Create queues

  • Grant general roles

  • Grant AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management objects to the ERM role and Custom database schema.

To install the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management Applications Objects

  1. To start AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management deployment manager, in the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management installation package, from the DeploymentManager folder, below the InstallTools, run Aveva.Erm.DeploymentManager.exe.

    The AVEVA ERM Deployment Manager 1.3.0.0 dialog appears.

  2. Select Install Default Database Schema.

  3. Enter the relevant details in the fields as required.

    Field

    Description

    Schema Name

    The name of the application database schema as entered while performing the Create Database Schema procedure.

    Schema Password

    The password of the application database schema as entered while performing the Create Database Schema procedure.

    TNS Alias / EZ Connect

    The TNS Alias of the database. You can view the TNS Alias in the tnsnames.ora file in the Oracle client. The value in the TNS Alias / EZ Connect field is also an EZCONNECT string (<host>:<port>/<service-name>).

    Custom Schema Name

    The name of the new application custom application database schema, as entered while running the Create Database Schema procedure.

    Custom Schema Password

    The password of the new application custom database schema, as entered while running the Create Database Schema procedure.

    ERM Role Name

    The name of the new application role, as entered while running the Create Database Schema procedure.

    ERM Role Password

    The password of the new application custom database schema, as entered while running the Create Database Schema procedure.

  4. Select Install.

    A terminal pop-up window appear processing the command.

  5. When the process is completed, in the terminal, enter exit.

    The AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management application objects are installed.
