Create a dimension code for a hull material

Use a dimension code to describe the shape and dimension of a hull plate or a hull profile material. For example, you can create a dimension code for angel bar as ANG or U-Profile as U-PR as described in the International Organization for Standardization.

1. Navigate to the s30019 Dimension Code - Hull Plate and Profile screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Dimension Code - Hull Plate and Profile grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   1. Dimension Code: The unique ID of a dimension code of a hull plate or a hull profile material.

   2. Description: The description of a dimension code of the hull plate or the hull profile material.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s30019 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The dimension code for a hull material is created.
