Add items to a checking list with the cycle count method. The cycle count method creates a checking list based on the selected locations and the cycle intervals for that location defined in the s60001 Stores and Locations screen. The cycle interval is the period between each time a location is counted.

  1. Navigate to the s60019 Inventory Checking screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the s60019 menu, in the Create/Modify Checking List group, select Create Checking Lists.

The d0049 Create Inventory Check List dialog appears.

  4. In the Basic Settings section, from the Site Id dropdown, select the ID of the site from which you want to add items to the checking list.

  5. In the List Definition Method section, select Storehouse Cycle Count.

  6. In the Selected Locations section, perform one of the following:

    • To add items from specific locations in the site, select Include Selected Locations Only, and perform the following:

      1. Select Add Locations.

The d0048 Cycle Count Location Selection dialog appears.

      2. From the Store dropdown, select the ID of the required storehouse.

      3. From the Days Ahead dropdown, enter the number of days.

The value in the Days ahead field is the number of days after the current day when the locations for which counting is due are added. A value of 0 includes only locations due today or earlier, a positive value includes locations due within the specified number of days after the current day, and a negative value includes only locations within the specified number of days before the current day.

The values in the Store and Days Ahead fields affects the value in the Locations field. You can only add a location if the value in the Locations field is greater than zero.

      4. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required.

      5. Select Add Locations.

In the d0049 Create Inventory Check List dialog, in the Selected Locations section, in the grid, the selected locations are added.

      1. To add items from all the locations in the site, select Include All Storehouse Locations.

For the selected site, all the locations are selected.

    • (Optional) To check the number of items in the checking list, select Test.

You can only create a checking list, if in the Test Results section, in the Storehouse Locations and the Checking List Lines fields, the value is greater than zero.

    • Perform one of the following:

      • To create a checking list with the value in the Status field as PLANNED, select Prepare List.

For a checking list in the planning stage, the items are not added to the checking list.

        A pop-up window appears.

        1. Read the message and select Ok.

        2. Select Exit.

        1. To create a checking list with the value in the Status field as INPROGRESS, select Create List.

        The checking list is created.
