Update the planning status of a fabricate part list

Update the planning status of a fabricate part list and control the release of the fabricate part list items for production or procurement.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

  • Ensure you save all the changes in the fabricate part list.

  • In the s20017 Fabricate Catalogue screen, in the General tab, ensure the Allow activities on fabricate part list line items checkbox is selected for the fabricate.

  • To update the planning status to Partly Planned or Totally Planned, ensure you update the Cost Account field (for projects with Use Cost Accounts in Material Control checkbox selected in the s10001 Projects screen) and the System field of all the fabricate part list items.

To update the planning status of a fabricate part list

  1. Navigate to the s21015 Fabricate Part Lists screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key

  3. In the Part Lists grid, select a row.

  4. On the s21015 menu, in the Status group, from the Planning dropdown, select one of the following:

    • Not Planned: The fabricate part list is not planned. The fabricate part list items are not available for view in the pallet list and not available for addition to the Delivery Request List (DRL) from the s21001 Delivery Request Lists screen.

    • Partly Planned: The fabricate part list is partially planned. The fabricate part list items are available for addition to the DRL from the s21001 Delivery Request Lists screen.

    • Totally Planned: The fabricate part list is totally planned. The fabricate part list items are available for addition to the DRL from the s21001 Delivery Request Lists screen.

  5. (Optional) To revert the status update, on the s21015 menu, select Revert.

  6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
