Use a process area to define an area where pipelines are constructed. For example, you can create a process area called CONSTRUCT-A1 where a pipeline PIPE-01 is constructed based on the design conditions of the pipeline.

  1. Navigate to the s22001 Process Areas screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

In the Process Areas grid, a blank row is created.

  5. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Process Area Code: The unique code of a process area.

    • Description: The description of the process area.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The process area is created.
