Map a source concept to a custom property

Map a source concept to a custom property and use the source concept to copy the data to a target concept.

  1. Navigate to the s00034 Custom Property Definition screen.

  2. In the Current Entity control block, from the Entity dropdown, select the ID of an entity.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. Select the Custom Property tab, in the CustomProperty grid, select a row.

  5. Select the Source Mappings tab and select anywhere in the grid.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the grid, a blank row is created.

  7. Perform the following:

    1. From the Source Concept dropdown, select the source concept from which you want to copy data.

    2. From the Source Custom Property dropdown, select the source custom property from which you want to copy data.

  8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    A pop-up window appears.

  9. Read the warning message and then select Yes.

    The source concept is mapped to the custom property.
