Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Procurement Milestones grid

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field

Description

Type

Schedule item type: Indicates whether an item is a milestone or a lead time.

  • M (Procurement Milestone): Determines a key activity within a procurement process. For example, create Purchase Order (PO), issue Request for Quote (RFQ), and so on. In case of a project delay, you can update the milestone to adapt to the changes in the procurement schedule.

  • LT (Procurement Lead Time): Determines the time taken for a task done outside AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. For example, shipping time, manufacturing lead time, and so on. For a procurement lead time, only an estimate duration is required and Baseline, Forecast, or Actual Date is not required.

The schedule item type IDs and descriptions are defined in the s50032 Schedule Item Types screen.

Id

The unique ID of a procurement milestone.

Description

The description of a procurement milestone.

Sequence Number

The default sequence assigned to a procurement milestone when the milestone is added to a procurement schedule in the s50037 Procurement Schedule screen.

Print Text 1

The first line of the two lines of milestone identification printed in the r50039 Procurement Scheduling Status report.

Print Text 2

The second line of the two lines of milestone identification printed in the r50039 Procurement Scheduling Status report.

Status

Indicates the status of a procurement milestone. If the Status checkbox is selected, the milestone is available for use in the s50037 Procurement Schedule screen. If the Status checkbox is cleared, you cannot add the milestone to a procurement schedule. If a milestone is already added to a procurement schedule and the Status checkbox of the milestone is cleared, the procurement schedule related to the milestone cannot progress.

Project

The ID of a project related to a procurement milestone. If a project is selected for a milestone, the milestone is only available for use in the procurement schedules related to the selected project. If a project is not selected for a milestone, the Corporate checkbox is automatically selected, and the milestone is available for use in procurement schedules related to any project.

Milestone Event

Indicates the activity related to a procurement milestone. The milestone event field is available only if the Schedule Item Type is M (Procurement Milestone). The milestone events are defined in the s50035 Procurement Milestone Events screen.

Instance

Determines whether the Actual Date of a procurement schedule is updated to the first or the latest date of the event related to a procurement milestone. The Actual Dates are updated in the s50037 Procurement Schedule screen. There are two options:

  • First: The actual date reflects the earliest date of the procurement milestone event.

  • Latest: The actual date reflects the latest date of the procurement milestone event.

    The Instance field is applicable only if the procurement schedule item Type is M (Procurement Milestone).

Progress

The progress of a procurement milestone in percentage. The Progress field is applicable only if the Schedule Item Type is M (Procurement Milestone).

Corporate

Indicates whether a procurement milestone is available for use in procurement schedules related to any project. The Corporate checkbox is automatically selected only when the Project field is empty.
