Relate a project component to a VDS

Relate a project component to a Vendor Deliverables Schedule (VDS). You can relate a material only if the document is marked as an Engineered Item.

Navigate to the s51009 Vendor Deliverables Schedule screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Vendor Deliverables Schedule grid, select a row.

On the s51009 menu, in the Actions group, select Relate Material.
The d0002 Project Component Multi Item Select dialog appears.

To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

In the ProjectComponent grid, select a row, and then select the Enter key.
In the Selected Items grid, the selected project component appears.

In the Selected Items grid, in the Req Quantity field, enter the required quantity of the project component.

Select Insert.
In the Vendor Deliverables Schedule grid, in the Materials tab, the selected project component appears.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The project component is related to the selected VDS.
