Substitute a picking list item

When a picking list item is unavailable or obsolete, you can replace a picking list item with a substitute material defined in the s20023 Material Substitution and Deviation screen.

1. Navigate to the s60031 Picking Lists screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Picking List grid, select a row.

4. In the Line Items grid, select the Items tab.

5. In the Items grid, select a row.

6. On the s60031 menu, in the Actions group, from the Replace Pick Suggestion dropdown, select Material Substitutions.

   The d0276 Substitute Material Selection dialog appears.

7. In the Approved Substitutions grid, select a substitute material.

8. Select Ok.

   In the Line Items grid, in the Items tab, in the Items grid, the substitute material appears.

9. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The picking list item is substituted.
