Add an MMT item to a shipping note

Add an item in a Material Movement Ticket (MMT) to a shipping note. An item added using the From MMT functionality is added as a loose item and is not placed inside a transport package.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

  1. For a shipping note, in the Shipping Note Header grid, in the General tab, in the Status field, ensure the value is New.

  2. In the Shipping Note Header grid, in the General tab, in the Type field, ensure the value is TRANSFER.

To add an MMT item to a shipping note

  1. Navigate to the s60006 Shipping Note screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Shipping Note Header grid, select a row.

  4. On the s60006 menu, in the Add items group, select From MMT.

    The d0264 Add items from MMT dialog appears.

  5. In the Filter Criteria control block, from the MMT dropdown, select the ID of the required MMT.

  6. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

    In the MMT Items grid, a list of MMT items related to the selected MMT appears.

  7. In the MMT Items grid, select a row, and then select the Enter key.

    In the Package Item grid, the selected MMT item appears.

  8. In the Package Item grid, perform one of the following:

    • To enter the total outstanding quantity, in the Insert Qty field, select Outs Qty.

    • To enter only a part of the total outstanding quantity, in the Insert Qty field, enter the required quantity.

    Note: Ensure the value entered does not exceed the value in the Outstanding Qty field, in the Package Item grid.

  9. Select Insert.

    In the Shipping Note Positions grid, the selected MMT item appears.

  10. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The MMT item is added to the selected shipping note.
