Compile a design revision

Create a new Material Take Off (MTO) or part list revision for a specific drawing discipline and project combination. When you compile a new revision, the system records a snapshot of the quantities for both approved and unapproved MTO or part list requirements. Updates made to the MTO or part list items at a later stage in the project do not affect the material quantities in the compiled revisions. When you use the Compile New functionality, a new material summary is created for the drawing discipline in the s21026 Material Summaries screen. You cannot delete a compiled revision.
-
Navigate to the s21027 Discipline MTO/Part List Revisions screen.
-
In the Current Project control block, perform the following:
-
From the Discipline dropdown, select the ID of the required drawing discipline.
-
From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.
-
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
On the s21027 menu, in the Actions group, select Compile New.
The d0285 Compile New Revision dialog appears.
-
In the New Revision field, enter the revision number.
-
Select Compile Revision.
The Job Started pop-up window appears. A job is triggered in the background to compile the revision.
When the Job Completed pop-up window appears, a design revision is compiled and added to the Design Revisions grid.
In the s21026 Material Summaries screen, a new material summary is created with the value in the Purpose field as Discipline MTO/Part List Revision.
