Assign a user to a store

When you assign a user to a store, the store is only available for the user assigned to the store. You can assign a user to a store either manually or by using the Populate Users From Site functionality. When you use the Populate Users From Site functionality, the users assigned to the site related to the store are assigned to the store.

To assign users to a store from the site related to the store, ensure the following:

  • In the s00016 Sites screen, for the site related to the store, the User Specific checkbox is selected.

  • In the s60042 Site User Access screen, at least one user is assigned to the site related to the store.

To manually assign a user to a store

  1. Navigate to the s60001 Stores and Locations screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Stores grid, select a row.

  4. Select the General tab and select the User Specific checkbox.

  5. Select the Users tab.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the grid, a blank row is created.

  7. From the User Id dropdown, select the ID of a user.

  8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The user is assigned to the store.

To assign users to a store from the site related to the store

  1. Navigate to the s60001 Stores and Locations screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Stores grid, select a row.

  4. Select the General tab and select the User Specific checkbox.

  5. Select the Users tab.

  6. On the s60001 menu, in the User Actions group, select Populate Users From Site.

    The users from the site are assigned to the store.
