Create an ABoM header

Create an Advance Bill of Materials (ABoM) header. An ABoM header contains the identification details of the ABoM such as the header ID, header version number, status, and so on.

1. Navigate to the s21002 Advance Bill of Materials - ABoM screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Advance Bill of Materials grid, a blank row is added.

5. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   1. From the Material Category dropdown, select the ID of the required material category.

   2. From the Material Id dropdown, select the ID of the required item.

   3. In the Quantity field, enter the required quantity of the item

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The ABoM header is created.
