Create a drawing

A drawing is the initial data required to define materials in a project. The s20012 Drawing Catalogue screen contains all the drawings in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management, including AVEVA NET documents imported via the s70010 AVEVA NET Documents screen.

1. Navigate to the s20012 Drawing Catalogue screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select a project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Drawings grid, a blank row is created.

5. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   • Drawing Number: The unique ID to identify a drawing within the related project.

   • Drawing Revision: The revision number of a drawing.

   • Description: The description of a drawing.

6. (Optional) Enter relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s20012 Field descriptions.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The drawing is created.
