Reapply the MR filter for a TMR

Update the content of an existing Technical Material Requisition (TMR) based on a filter applied to the Material Requisition (MR) in the s40001 Requisition Register screen.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

  • For the TMR, in the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, in the General tab, in the External status field, ensure the value is Create/Change.

  • Ensure the TMR is linked to an MR. For more information on MRs, see s40001 Requisition Register.

To reapply the MR filter for a TMR

  1. Navigate to the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select a row.

  4. On the s50016 menu, in the Add Positions group, select Reapply MR filter.

    The d0105 Create/Update TMR dialog appears.

  5. In the Content section, from the Difference Types dropdown, select one of the following:

    • Req above TMR Qty: To add materials found through the MR filter with a negative balance compared to the quantities in the existing TMR positions.

    • TMR Qty above Req: To add materials found through the MR filter with a positive balance, which exceeds the rounding increment set in the s40002 Working Surplus Contingency screen.

    • All Requirements: To add all the materials found through the MR filter. The existing TMR positions are overwritten.

  6. In the Content section, select one of the following:

    • Append: To add the new requirements as new TMR positions.

    • Merge: To update the existing requirements with all the changes from the new requirements.

  7. To include the requirements for which the entire quantity is on hold, select the On Hold Lines checkbox.

  8. In the Documents section, select any of the following:

    • Include Documents: To include the documents related to the material.

    • Include Attachments: To include the attachments related to the material.

  9. Select Continue.

    The TMR is updated.

  10. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
