Setup AVEVA Licensing as a Service (LaaS)

NOTE: Before setting up LaaS, contact AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management service personnel. A service principal account added to your Connect account with a service email address registered to the account is required. A service user account is required to log in. If the service user account is removed or disabled, then obtaining licenses stop working.

To create a token to authenticate the Connect Licensing service.

  1. Run Aveva.Erm.ServicePrincipalBootstrapper.

    The Aveva.Erm.ServicePrincipalBootstrapper dialog appears.

  2. Select Generate.

    The AVEVA Connect authentication dialog appears.

  3. Perform the following:

    1. In the Email field, enter the service user email address as created in AVEVA Connect.

    2. In the Password field, enter the password.

  4. Select SIGN IN.

    If a token is created, the following dialog appears:

  5. Select Close.
