After you create a Delivery Request List (DRL) and add materials to the DRL, the next step is to issue the DRL to the warehouse. For more information on how to create and add materials to a DRL, see Create and update a DRL.
-
Navigate to the s21001 Delivery Request Lists screen.
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
In the Delivery Request List grid, select a row.
The default status of the DRL is DRL Not Completed and the value in the Picking List Status field is O-DRL (DRL Not Completed).
-
On the s21001 menu, in the Status group, select DRL Completed.
The system initiates a check of the mandatory validation rules to ensure the following:
-
The Production Date field in the DRL header contains a value.
-
The Stock Site field in the DRL header contains a valid site ID.
-
The DRL items related to part list items are not flagged as Hold Picking.
-
The System related to the DRL items is active.
-
The Cost Account related to the DRL items is active.
-
If the Can Only Request Available Material checkbox is selected in the d0073 ERM System Settings dialog, the system checks whether the quantity of requested materials exceeds the quantity of materials available on site. If yes, a validation error appears indicating the material availability status.
If the validation is successful, the status of the DRL changes to DRL Completed and the value in the Picking List Status field changes to C-DRL (DRL Completed).
-
-
On the s21001 menu, in the Status group, select In Warehouse Dispatch List.
The stock site is verified. If the verification is successful, the value in the Picking List Status field changes to WAREH (In Warehouse Dispatch List) and the d0024 Release For Dispatch View dialog appears.
In the Item Lines grid, view the material availability status for the date specified in the Production Date field.
-
To view the quantity of material that affects the balance for each transaction, select each row, and view the details in the Material Balance grid.
-
On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The DRL is issued.
