Approve a piping MTO line

Approve a piping Material Take-Off (MTO) line. After approval, the MTO items related to the piping MTO line are available for requisition and construction.

To approve a piping MTO line, in the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, perform one of the following:

• In the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Working. In the MTO Quality field, ensure the value is Estimate.

• In the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Confirmed. In the MTO Quality field, ensure the value is Actual.

You cannot make changes to an approved piping MTO line. To update an approved piping MTO line, reopen the piping MTO line. For more information, see Reopen a piping MTO line.

1. Navigate to the s22040 Piping MTO screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

5. On the s22040 menu, in the Workflow group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Approve.

   In the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, the value in the MTO Status field is updated to Approved. Additionally, for each MTO item related to the piping MTO line, the value in the Working Quantity field is copied to the Last Issued Qty (approved quantity) field.

6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
