Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Updated Application

The application used to update a record.

Defined Application

The application used to create a record.

Current Project control block

Field

Description

Project

The ID of the project related to a drawing.

Description

The description of a project.

Status

Indicates the status of a project. If the project is closed, then you cannot update any information for the drawing.

Template

Indicates a project is a template project. A template project is a standard project that can help set up projects with the same method and structure as the template project. If the Template checkbox is selected, the project is not included in material status calculations or budget calculations.

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field

Description

Drawing Number

The unique ID to identify a drawing within the related project.

Sheet Number

The sheet number related to a drawing.

Drawing Id

The unique ID of a drawing. The Drawing Id is automatically generated using a combination of the Drawing Number and the Sheet Number.

Drawing Revision

The revision number of a drawing.

Description

The description of a drawing.

Status

The status of a drawing. If the Status checkbox is selected, the drawing is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

External Status

The external status of a drawing. The valid statuses are:

  • Preliminary: Indicates the default status of the drawing. At the Preliminary stage, the drawing is not available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

  • Fully Validated: Indicates the drawing is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

  • Not to be Used: Indicates the drawing is not available for use due to a temporary restriction (the supply of materials is restricted or alternatives are being evaluated) or a permanent hold (the drawing is obsolete). If the drawing is already assigned to a Part List (PL) or a Purchase Order (PO), you can continue to use the drawing. However, the drawing is not available for addition to any new PL or PO.

  • Ready For Delete: Indicates you can delete the drawing in case a clean up of the reference data is performed. At the Ready For Delete stage, the drawing is not available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Designer

The designer responsible for a drawing.

Url

The link to the file of a drawing.

System

The ID of the system related to a drawing is related. The available systems are defined in the s10004 Set-Up Project Structure and Systems screen.

Drawing Discipline

The discipline related to the content of a drawing. The valid drawing disciplines are defined in the s20015 Drawing Disciplines screen.

Format

The format or paper size of a drawing.

Department

The department responsible for a drawing. The available departments are defined in the s00021 Resource Definition screen.

Supplier

The ID of the supplier who delivers a drawing. The Supplier field is used for drawings created by an external company.

Supplier Name

The company name of the supplier who delivers a drawing.

Actual Availability Date

The date when a drawing is completed and is available for use in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management

Planned Availability Date

The planned date when a drawing is scheduled to be available for use in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Text

Miscellaneous comments related to a drawing.

PL: Indicates a part list is already defined for a drawing.

Part List Exists

PE: Indicates a part list is created for the work drawing.

Part List Activity

The activity ID of a part list.

Cost Account

The account number of the primary financial account to which the cost of the material used to produce the item in the drawing is allocated.
