Create a history setup

Create a history setup to link a history type to a history subtype. You can also define a database view for the history type and the history subtype.

1. Navigate to the s12024 History Setup screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the History Type grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   • From the History Type Id dropdown, select the ID of a history type.

   • From the Generate View dropdown, select the name of a database view.

5. Select anywhere in the History Sub Type grid.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the History Sub Type grid, a blank row is created.

7. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   • From the History Type Id dropdown, select the ID of a history subtype.

   • From the Generate View dropdown, select the name of a database view.

8. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The history setup is created.
