Use a hyperlink restriction to restrict access to unauthorized hyperlinks.
A regular expression defined in a hyperlink restriction is used to analyze and restrict hyperlinks created in different screens throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. For example, you can create a hyperlink restriction using the regular expression www.aveva-external.com and set the restriction type to Disabled. When you use the Attachments tab available in different screens to create a hyperlink attachment that contains the regular expression www.aveva-external.com in the URL, then an error message appears and you cannot save the hyperlink attachment.
