Create and maintain a list of Advance Bill of Materials (ABoM). An ABoM is used to create early purchase requirements during the design phase of a project. When a part list is created for the project, the part list replaces the ABoM requirements.

ABoM requirements created through the s21002 Advance Bill of Materials - ABoM screen are also called ABoM headers. You can only import ABoM items into AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management from an external application. You can include multiple items under one ABoM header. The items in an ABoM header have the same material requirements as the ABoM header and hold additional information from the external application. You can view the external ID of an ABoM item in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.
