Add a material special group to a project component

Add material specific information to a project component based on the material special group related to the project component.

For example, if you select Material Special Group as Door, a new concept tab called Door is added to the screen. The tab contains multiple fields where you can add information about the door, such as, height, frame, door handle preferences, color, and so on.

1. Navigate to the s20010 Project Components screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Project Component grid, select a row.

5. Select the General 1 tab, from the Material Special Group dropdown, select the required material special group.

   Based on the selected material special group, the corresponding concept tab (such as Door, Pipe, Equipment, Instrument, and so on) appears.

6. Select the concept tab.

7. On the s20010 menu, in the Project Component Actions group, select Add Special Group.

   The material special group information fields in the concept tab are active for the selected project component.

8. Add or modify the required material specific information.

9. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   Material special group information is added to the selected project component.
