Raise the revision of a material summary

To reopen and modify an issued material summary, you can raise the revision of a material summary. To issue a material summary, see Issue a material summary.

1. Navigate to the s21026 Material Summaries screen.

2. In the Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Summaries grid, select a row.

5. On the s21026 menu, in the Options group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Revise.

   A pop-up window appears.

6. In the pop-up window, perform one of the following:

   • To raise the revision of a material summary without the latest material take-off or part list revision updates, select Continue Without Updating.

   • To clear adjustments made in the Summary Content grid, in the Materials tab, and recalculate the material summary, select Clear Adjustments and Update.

   • To keep adjustments made in the Summary Content grid, in the Materials tab, and recalculate the material summary, select Keep Adjustments and Update.

   In the Summaries grid, in the General tab, the value in the Revision field increases by one. Additionally, the value in the Status field is updated to Open.

7. (Optional) To undo the workflow update, on the s21026 menu, in the Options group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Undo Workflow Actions.

8. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
