Define and maintain a language in which the description of a document code appears in other documents. For example, if the supplier is from Denmark, you can specify the document code in Danish and the text appears in the specified language whenever the document code is referenced elsewhere in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

To use the document code in other screens, ensure a language is defined for the document code.

  1. Navigate to the s20005 Documents screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Document Codes grid, select a row.

  4. Select anywhere in the Standard Text in different languages grid.

  5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

In the Standard Text in different languages grid, a blank row is created.

  6. Select the General tab and perform the following:

    • From the Language dropdown, select the required language code.

    • In the Language Description field, enter the description of the document code in the selected language.

Note: To define multiple language texts for a document code, repeat steps 5 and 6.

  7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

The language text for the document code is defined.
