Relate an expedite item to an expedite header

If an expeditor is added to a purchase order header in the s50018 Purchase Order screen, the expedite items automatically relate to the expedite header. If the expedite items are deleted manually, you can relate the expedite item to an expedite header by using the Relate Expediting Items action.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• In the Expedite Items grid, in the Delivery tab, ensure the Deliverable checkbox is selected for the expedite item.

• In the Expedite Items grid, in the Exp Items tab, ensure the value in the Exp Qty field is greater than zero for the expedite item.

• In the s10001 Projects screen, in the Project grid, in the General 1 tab, ensure the Use Expediting checkbox is selected for the project related to the expedite item.

To relate expedite items to an expedite header

1. Navigate to the s51004 Expediting screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Expedite Header grid, select a row.

4. On the s51004 menu, in the Actions group, from the Handling of Items dropdown, select Relate Expediting Items.

   In the Expediting Items grid, the expedite items are copied from the Exp Items Tree tab to the Exp Items tab.
