Add documents to a TMR

Add documents such as instruction manuals, assembly drawings, and certificates to a Technical Material Requisition (TMR). The documents are delivered along with the requisitioned items. You cannot add documents to a subcontract task (SC) item or a various material (V) item.
For the TMR, in the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, in the General tab, in the Internal status field, ensure the value is Create/Change.

Navigate to the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select a row.

In the Position grid, select the Technical Material Requisition Position tab.

In the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, select a row.
Ensure the selected position is not a document, a subcontract task, or a various material.

On the s50016 menu, in the Add Positions group, select Documents.
The d0017 Document Selection dialog appears.

In the Display Options section, select one of the following:

Display documents related to the material: To display the documents related to the selected material.

Display all available documents: To display all the active documents defined in the s20005 Documents screen.

To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.
In the Documents section, a list of documents appear.

In the Documents section, select the required documents, and then select the Enter key.
In the Selected Documents section, the selected documents appear.

In the Selected Documents section, in the Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each document.

Select Insert.
In the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, the documents are added as TMR positions.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
