Add fabricates to an ABoM

Add predefined fabricates from the catalogue to an Advance Bill of Materials (ABoM).

1. Navigate to the s21002 Advance Bill of Materials - ABoM screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the s21002 menu, in the Add Positions group, from the From Catalogue dropdown, select Fabricates.

   The d0122 Fabricated Item Selection dialog appears.

5. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

   The fabricates in the Fully Validated status appear.

6. In the Fabricates grid, select one or more materials, and then select the Enter key.

   The selected materials appear in the SelectedFabricate grid.

7. In the SelectedFabrictae grid, in the Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each material.

8. Select Insert.

   The materials appear in the Advance Bill Of Materials grid.

9. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s21002 Field descriptions.

10. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The fabricates are added to the ABoM.
